Busy Week Blog Update

Ahhhh, so I've been M.I.A. recently from blogging with all the events related with college and what not, but since I have some time to kill I can finally return to my viewers blogs to see how everybody is doin' lately and what cool information I'll absorb, mmmmm tasty. If I wasn't out with friends or doing assignments, I was probably playing Forza 3 or Tekken 6 since I never had the chance to try these games out, pretty awesome! But the highlight of the week was when I prepaid something special for May. Here's a little hint at what I'm anticipating:

that's right ladies and gents, DUKE NUKEM FOREVER, although it took over a decade, it's almost here... finally! Everyone knows that Duke Nukem is king when it comes to wooping alien ass! I'm certainly ready to kick-ass and chew bubblegum... but I'm all out of gum... AGAIN.

Coming Soon: eBay Product Listings + Sneak Preview

Okay so recently, a friend and I were talking about how we could get rid of many unwanted college textbooks. I used Craigslist, and he had chosen eBay. Although I think I earned more overall through Craigslist than my friend, it seems that his business through eBay could have a larger chance to sell stuff because of the large online market. Therefore, I registered for the account and read over all the insertion fees, paypal fees and ending charges. I think I'll handle it with similar techniques that I learned from virtual auction houses, such as the one in World of Warcraft. Be on the lookout for some of the item listings as I will be redirecting customers from there to my blog for an opportunity to gain access to perks such as extra product photos or even product videos. Who knows!? Feel free to contribute some helpful eBay selling tips, all is appreciated!

Serious Inquiry: Why Does America Hate On Weed And Not Cigarettes?

Now I'm aware of the several states that distribute marijuana for medicinal purposes, and don't get me wrong.. that's awesome! Listed below is a chart of the current states that approved the use of long lost medicine.

 There are additional states that are pending the use of medicinal cannabis, but... what I'm trying to figure out is what the f**k is taking so long!? For years, marijuana has been criticized and said to be addictive to the "criminals" that use the herb. But finally, after research, the negatives don't necessarily outweigh the positives at all. But I'll save that talk for another post! The matter at hand is... although cigarette companies make millions upon millions of dollar, their product  provides harmful chemicals to enter the body and eventually contribute to developments of cancer and what not. Apparently in the United States that isn't a problem. If you do your research and look up the benefits of marijuana usage opposed to the benefits of smoking cigarettes, you'll clearly see which product is more beneficial and healthier. **Cough** Marijuana **Cough** (pun intended.) The sad part is: if you're caught smoking marijuana without the prescription, or within a state in which the drug is portrayed as "criminal" you can expect to pay some fines and possibly do some time. NONSENSE, I know. However, you can always smoke a cigarette and kill yourself, that's A-Okay in our country! I'm very curious to see what will happen with marijuana in regards to its legality in our country over the next few years! Which state do you think will be the last to approve the use of medicinal marijuana? Besides... it's just a plant.
 

Video Games That You Think Should Never Make It To The Big Screen

Okay so each year or so, there always happens to be that video game series that is selected for a live action adaptation. However, not all of these movies are really that good. It's almost like the sole intent of the directors is to skew the movie down to corny acting, repetitive and blah plots, and worst of all, the newfound shame brought to the video game series. Anyway, what I'm trying to ask you guys is, What video game series do you think Hollywood should leave alone!? In other words, what video game or series is far too epic to portray through 90 minutes of film and bad acting?

In my opinion... The Legend of Zelda, you can have any other game, but please no... just don't.

Portal 2 Set For April Release

For all of those who didn't know, Valve has confirmed an official release date for one of Steam's most innovative titles. Valve's unique take on puzzle gameplay returns with this second entry a storyline originally begun in The Orange Box. Without a doubt, excited to see what kinds of tactics players will need for the new cooperative/competitive modes. But what is really making me anxious is will there still be cake? and will it forever remain a lie!? For those of you who haven't gotten the opportunity to try out the first Portal, please be sure to do that for it is a game that I hope nobody misses out on! Be on the lookout for possible Portal 2 updates. Here's a little teaser action!

The Movie I Feel Like Watching:

Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle! Still think this one is way better than the sequel, can't wait for the the third installment "A Very Harold & Kumar Christmas" to come out! The plot seems pretty interesting:

"Six years after their Guantanamo Bay adventure, stoner buds Harold Lee and Kumar Patel cause a holiday fracas by inadvertently burning down Harold's father-in-law's prize Christmas tree."

Pretty excited that the series is now a trilogy! Anywho, I think I'm gonna pop that in right now and enjoy, cheers!

Bioshock Bug

Okay so I've mentioned in earlier posts that I have been playing Bioshock 2, and I came across this part where I was pushed into some tiny compartment during a fight and stuck in a teeny room. It was at the part where I had to kill Sinclair or whatever his name is. Anywho, whenever I would try to load my game, I would get put back in this tiny bs room .Thanks autosave! Rather than loading from a much earlier save, I decided I would have to do the unthinkable. For viewing pleasure, I even provided a video :D

In Class Fail

Okay so earlier in my Psychology class, my teacher asks the class "Assume you flipped a coin and it landed on heads two previous times, what is probability of the coin landing on either heads or tails the next time it's flipped?" and a genius female from the back of the class yells out "two-thirds!" If you don't see what the fail is here, reply with your favorite ice cream flavor. If you know why I facepalmed, you'd know that maybe college is filled with morons. Morons with money, or just plain morons. This has been a quick fail, written up on my phone, cheers! Now what better time than to check up on my followers!

Currently in my Sociology class, we have to interview a few people about how their freshman year of college was and what college you went to, so that's the point of this post! The Lexus LFA. All hail Lexus's first supercar. Pretty much looks can, in this case, speak for themselves when it involves this ride. Price is rumored to be around $375,000. DAAAAYYYUUM. The Lexus LFA is operated by a 4.8-liter V10 engine (holy balls), which delivers 560 horsepower and easily cranks around 203mph with a 0 to 60 time of 4.4 seconds. Random Movie Release I'm Anticipating At The Moment:

Okay so I've seen plenty of movies on the big screen this past couple months, and I mean plenty! However, the movie that really made me laugh my ass off would have to be Due Date, I know critics over at Rotten Tomatoes didn't "love" the movie, but I recommend it to anyone who wants a good laugh, smokes marijuana, enjoys Galifnakis, or who just needs a solid film to watch. Personally, I can't wait much longer for the Blu Ray release. This is a mandatory must buy for DazedandBlazed. ★

Mortal Kombat 9 Opinions

Well my fellow bloggers, so it was brought to my attention last year that a new Mortal Kombat is in the works. It seems like the producers of the series just don't want to let the series die. WHICH ISN'T A TERRIBLE THING. Warner Brothers and Interactive are working with Developer: Netherealm Studios to put this thing together. But what I'm wanting to know, is if it will play anything like the Mortal Kombat vs D.C. release. I despised that title with all of my heart, the concepts of blood and gore from the majority of other M.K. games wasn't there and it also receieved a "T" rating. WTFISTHIS "T" rating!? Personally I hope this new release doesn't disappoint. For viewer and reader satisfaction, I've included box art, and some media.

Man Draws on Face with Sharpie and Sword and Demands Video Games Back, Results in Arrest

Okay so I'm doing my routine morning information gathering, and I stumbled across this article talking about a man from a town I'm familiar with... Evansville, Indiana. Yeah, it was definitely a much different city than what I'm used to over on the west coast, but that's another story for another time.

 His name is Ricky Calichun and was said to have drawn all over his face with sharpies and had adventured over to a friends apartment in need of his consoles and games and what not. Ricky evenutally got into his buddy's apartment and began swinging his weapon of choice, a sword, throughout the apartment in search of his belongings. Occupants and eyewitnesses of the area informed the police, and eventually this intoxicated make-up wearing citizen was put into a county jail with $50,000 bond. Who knows? Maybe he'll have a chance to work on his sword and weaponry skill behind bars. Kalichun was charged with intimidation with a weapon and public intoxication. It is clear, this man was no drunken master with the sword. He is not the chosen one. ★

UFOS flying around Colombian Volcano? WTF?

Okay so from time to time, I get the feeling that there are some shady things in the fuggin sky. But recently when I looked up "UFO sightings" in Google News, I found this article talking about how there have been several UFO sightings around a particular volcano... are they trying to pull some shit here or what? There also seem to be more websites covering this mysterious volcanic activity, an easy Google Search could tell you more!
